Is Texas feeling the blues?

I won’t lie, after the Vice President debate I have nearly stopped paying attention to the election only because I hear the same thing every time. Hilary and her emails, Trump being Trump and word vomiting every time he gets to the microphone blah blah blah blah blah.

But, I did hear something new recently that inspired me to write a blog right away. A predominantly red state like Texas might turn blue and vote for Clinton. Now ain’t that something! For the past 20-30 sum years Texas has been seen a die hard Republican and no democratic candidate would change that, until now I guess.

The issue that ensued this change to at least making the race a little tighter in Texas or even changing it’s party is the leaked tape of Donald Trump talking about the way he’s treated women.

Trump tried to defend himself saying it was locker room talk and saying what he says best, pure B.S. if you asked me. Locker room talk is known to be about how boys talk about the last girl had sex with or about sports or even a such a stretch to hazing but locker room talk would almost never include details about forcing women sexually.

As a woman myself, I could never bring myself to vote for someone whom says and does nasty things to women, and here’s the kicker…its not even the first time. Remember way back when he said that women should be punished for abortion but then he recanted that statement because of the push back after he said it. Or how about when he said that if Ivanka wasn’t his daughter he’d be dating her…now that’s way past the border on creepy and inappropriate. Now this one just makes me laugh because it proves how Trump really thinks. He tweeted about a number of women in the military have been sexually assaulted but only a few cases have its date at court, he ends the tweet with “What did these geniuses expect when they put men & women together?”

In all can you really blame the people of Texas in not staying true to their part?! I’m certainly cutting them some slack because Trump is not a candidate I would want to represent my party. Especially if I were Texan because those are some ride or die Republicans they would want someone respectable. If Texas turns blue who will follow?

Today must be a fun day for you, then.

I fail to see how you have any standing to form an opinion, unless you were secretly observing those conversations. Because no man who would engage (or listen to such talk) will speak truthfully to women about it. Consider it a pre-historic version of "What's said in the locker room stays in the locker room."

So you're saying that it's creepy and inappropriate for an 70 year old to date someone 36 years younger? What if Bill died, and Hillary took up with someone 36 years younger? What about a 27 year difference between a President and an intern? Where on this slippery slope does a May-December romance become suspect, and who are you to make that determination?

According to the article you cite, Trump explained his tweet by stating that as President, he would instruct the military to enforce the UCMJ rather than create an alternative judicial system. Why do you find that funny?
